I have a lot of work from now until August.  I'm considering dropping out of the [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang  for this year, which breaks my heart because damnit I was looking forward to it.  I am disappoint.

Also, currently no Internet at home, which means resorting to long hours in a cafe buying tea to justify my extended presence.  I've been acculturated.  Long story short, extended absences from LJ broken up by irregular splurging on my f-list I just have no self-control in avoiding fandom, so whatever.  There have been some lovely comments left by people that have made me warm and fuzzy inside, and I promise to respond when I'm able to.

I can't wait for this year to be done.

In the meantime, have some art thing. )

I found some old fanart from back in high school, ahahaha lolwut.  For Vincent, no less, IDK.

My love of Hojo's penchant for torture started early. )

I haven't done a fanart (that I've been willing to show by the light of day, or at least the light of a computer screen) in ages.  So, Samifer.

Accusations of an obsession with Antichrist imagery is patently false and you should feel bad for thinking it. )

I haven't been responding to comments or PMs.  This makes me a dick.  I'm sorry, and when I'm out of my current funk, I'll be all over you.

art dump.

Papers are FINALLY FUCKING DONE.  Which means fic.  And I'd be more excited if insomnia hadn't kept me awake for the last 30+ hours; another day and I'll beat my highest record.

My hair is much longer now, tyvm.

In other news, art dump.  Because I'm going through my class notes, which are more drawings than notes, and dear lord but I have them dating back to 2008.  This is how they usually turn out.

Apologies for the poor quality of the photos, but too tired to give a shit over doodles.

Ahoy for image-heavy weirdness, and that 'w' word was harder to spell than it should've been. )

ETA: My posts have taken a depressing tone lately.  Have some fabulous awesome fabulousness. <3

Since I'm snowed in, and by 'snowed in' I mean I'm menstruating and can't move, I DID THINGS WITH A PENCIL.

My study-abroad program is having a photo contest and I figured, hey, why not.  The category is 'Off the Beaten Path,' and I tried to choose pics that reflect some important aspect of Ireland.

Of these four, which two would you choose?

Am I your charm, or am I just bad luck ~ )

Sorry, Cloud, but even I needed a break from torturing you ~ )

Notes fo rIrish folklore classes rarely involve folklore, apparently ~ )
Been cleaning out what seems like a miniature library of notes and bills and papers - and most of it isn't even my own.  *dead*  *no pun intended*

I'm not much of one for souvenirs, but when I was in Paris a few months ago I couldn't resist a replica nineteenth-century dueling pistol from the Louvre.  I used it in a drawing and, er, am proud enough of the result to want to share it rather shamelessly.  In this case, concrit is certainly welcomed.

Sweet child of mine ~ )

A cousin asked me to watercolor her a dragon a while ago.  I love dragons, but they're a friggin' pain in the ass to draw.

   - Watercolor, origami paper (for his eyes and the pearl in his claw), ink.  Reassembled in Photoshop, because as a tryptich it wouldn't fit in a single photograph.
