Happy All Saints' Day and belated Samhain/Hallowe'en.

I wish I had more time to write.  I get up, go to class, grab something to eat, go to work, come back at ten at night to the dorm and either do homework or go straight to sleep.  I'm so used to having a summer of doing nothing but sitting on my butt that having an entire week packed full is an entirely foreign concept.  It hurts my brain-matter.  On the plus side, I get a good hour and a half of fanfic writing during Astronomy, and who needs an A anyway?

Now that I work at the library I get to see the whole selection, and so far I've found Why We Love Harry Potter and Critical Essays on the World of Harry Potter.  Or something like that.  It has essays about the socio-economic implications of race and status in the Wizarding World, and the gender roles of the characters, and even Jungian archetypal imagery of Harry Potter.  I mean, don't these Ph.D people have better things to write about than Harry Potter, of all things, like, oh, world peace or something?  (I have an excuse.  I'm poor and intellectually challenged when it comes to recognizing bad habits.)

There was something I meant to say but I totally forgot what it was.  I've gotten sucked into Naruto, after I swore I wouldn't let myself get into any more mainstream anime.  (And I think it kinda sucks, but it's got an emo boy and emo boys are so much to make cry.)

What was I going to say?  *dies*  Meh.  I'm gonna go eat my wholly non-organic and entirely preservative-packed churro.  AND ENJOY IT, DAMMIT!  *shakes fist at her herbalist teacher*

Wah! I've missed you! *hugs*
..Happy belated New Years. ^_^
So, life's getting busy, huh? Do you like it though? In an "I'm starting to see what there is to life" type of way?
So are you making any self discoveries?

Critical Essays? T_T Thats so... Well, I guess at the same time since Harry Potter is so popular, maybe they connect actual issues with the stories? And get people to think? Speaking of emo kids, did you ever watch Little Miss Sunshine?

Ahahaha! Don't you just love it? XD If only keeping such promises were that easy.

Churro? Hmm? Whats that?

Oh, was your winter affected at all?
Here, where it's usually snowing before Halloween - well, we finally got snow that stayed two days ago. Exciting, non? And still, people don't believe in global warming. Le sigh.

Sorry for only half stringing things together.

How's that class going? (Umm, Aikido? I think..<.<)

*rib-squeezing hug* God, we're bad with appointments, aren't we?

Life's good, just busy, and I'm getting over a cold. The doc thinks I may be anemic, so I'm going in to see her soon.

Harry Potter...*kicks him* Haven't seen LMS, though my friends bf raves about it. I had to refuse to see it just on prinicple after that.

Churros are a Tex-Mex breadstick thing that's warm, a little crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside, covere din cinnamon and brown sugar. You can get them at Taco Bell, I think, though we usually just pick them up at the boardwalk down by the beach. They're yummy, but you just -know- they're full of preservatives and calories.

I'm jealous of your snow. It got way below freezing, but the sky was crystal clear. California farmers lost several million dollars worth of crop to the frost, and why can't we have snow too?

Dropped Aikido, not enough time between work and my academic classes. *cries* Oh well.

And you? How's life for you?

Oh, btw, I found a book while shelving in the library. It's called "My Mother's Keeper," though I don't remember the author, and it's a biography about a girl that had to care for her schizophrenic mother. I, uh, kinda thought of you, and I hope you're not offended, but maybe...you'd like it? I dunno, I haven't read it, but...yeah.

..XD Understatement.

Heh. I'm catching a cold - hopefully it doesn't become serious, because I'm heading to Toronto on Wednesday (coming back Sunday), and I don't want to be sick for the trip.

Well..I suppose you might not like it because you were grumpy about that, but if you try to forget about him, and see it with people with a good sense of humour, it is rather funny (and kind of depressing, but I found it over-all uplifting).

That sounds almost good. Err. THe cinnaminnyness does. The rest is debatable.

Hahahahaha. *mocks your lack of snow* Well, you'd get sick of the snow if you had it for long periods of time. >.> but sometime you should visit in the winter. XD

Aah, well when life's not so busy, you can always pick it up again later?

Nah, I'm not offended. I might look it up. But I might not since I know it'd make me cry whatever happy underlyingness it may contain.

Life for me is extremely dull at the moment. Did I tell you? Hobbes (my new kitten) "ran away" on Christmas. T_T I'm still waiting for him to come home. <3

And forgive my misspellings, I'm too lazy to go back and fix the mistakes. ;p

Of course. It's not like I can spell very well either.
(zomg. And my grammer is now officially atrocious. When talking to me in person, I'm terrible. T_T I actually have to think about what I'm saying now, for it to be proper, and even then I'll mix up the order)
