life update because i don't believe in regular communication

I often get the question: When are you going to update/finish Eir's Tomorrow?  And the answer is: I don't know, because honestly I'm kind of burned out on the FF7 fandom for the first time in, what, seven years of poking at it, haven't read other people's fic for it in like four or five years anyway, and I just.  It isn't fun writing it anymore? I'll finish it eventually just because I've spent so much time on it by now that it'd be stupid to let that all go to waste, and there are only like one chapter + epilogue left, but there you go.

Psych medication hasn't been helping my ~creative drive~ either.  :(

*pat, pat* There, there, at your own pace, you cannot rush genius. That's the story and you're sticking to it :)

Yes, ma'am.

...How do you make a saluting emoticon? Damn.

I hope you do finish it. Getting to read the whole thing will be my reward for finishing my current fic. :)

Take care of yourself. You'll get to it when you're ready. And we'll be here to read it. :)

1) We rabidly follow everything you write, it's why we call you evil but love you anyway when you dangle a new shiny in front of us and run away cackling.
2) You can take however long you need or abandon it all together if you want to, we all fall out with fandoms, have RL stuff going on, etc. Anyone who wants to boss you around needs to get you on their payroll first.
3) No guilt allowed.

*Huggles* Evil meds. I hope they are at least helping YOU, even if your ficcing has taken a hit. I think my happiness is proportional to my ficcing but, well, some people have lives, apparently... >_>

*hugs* I love pretty much anything you write. And writing for a fandom you're no longer interested in can be so damn crap :(

as much as we all love your work so much ,in the end you don't owe us anything and don't force yourself into it if you don't want to. sucks though! hope you get your ffvii spark back.

Was out of town when you posted this, so coming late to comment. Take your time with Eir's. whatever. I've been enjoying the thinky drabble-rambles you've been producing, so I'm good here.

I just hope the new meds do more good than harm, and you're the only one who can judge that.

Catch you around LJ eventually.

I believe in you! And sometimes I find reading a well written story from that fandom really gets the creative juices flowing. Anyway, don't feel like you're obligated to finish the story just because you've been working on it for so long. If it ain't fun then don't do it :P We (the readers) might be disappointed, but I wouldn't want you to feel like Eir's Tomorrow is becoming a chore : (

Anyway, much love to you and hope it all goes well ♥
