This is very much a fun little universe, and for some reason I can't escape the amazing angsticane that comes with the mental image of there being no Cloud in FF7 verse and therefore FMA!Cloud takes over all the duties and plot and whatnot of it. And gets to angst his way through the horrors of these two not being HIS lovers, not really, and Sephiroth's betrayal even though it's not his Sephiroth, and getting mindfucked, and, and, and then getting pulled back to Amestris and being angsty-badass and Sephiroth and Zack have to do much cuddling to make it all better.
