phoenixes and dragons and wolves, oh my!
Jul. 6th, 2009 08:14 amGot work started on my second tattoo - a phoenix curling down the inside of my left forearm, done in a vaguely traditional-tattoo style. I remember being little and watching my mum draw and paint the original before getting it tattooed on her hip, and the phoenix has always made me think of her. Hence the main reason for getting it, and the tattooist did a wonderful job in recreating her own style so that they're essentially identical. *wiggles happily*
(Incidentally, she was also the inspiration for my pseudonym, way back in '02 when it was still just 'Phoenix'. Always been more of a dragons-and-wolves type of person, but hopefully in a few years I'll be able to get a matching dragon flowing down my right forearm.)
*bounces back to the FFVIII pr0n she started*
EDIT: OH YEAH AM ALSO GOING TO CANADA FOR THE WEEK OMGYAY. And why didn't anyone ever tell me that the American Midwest was so beautiful? o.O
