What I like best is the way you weave together actions and descriptions with the characters' emotions. Each person-especially Cloud, but really all of them-- notices things and reacts to them in a way that is unique to his or her own personality. It makes the story flow in a very natural way, and puts the readers right smack inside the character's head.
