I have nothing else to do right now. Some family's over, and I don't particularly social right now.
So, I saw the movie "American Psycho" today, with Christian Bale (sp?). You know, the guy that plays the new Batman? Heh, it's funny seeing Bruce Wayne act like Joker, totally screwing (literally) with this one whore and killing her by dropping a chainsaw in her back. Or slaughtering his colleague by saying, "Hey, Paul!" and when the guy turns around taking out his face with an axe. With Phil Collins playing in the background. Though I didn't like it when he killed a homeless man and then the man's dog. That pissed me off. But the rest is kinda funny; it reminded me a lot of "Fight Club", but not so great.
By the way, I despise Brad Pitt, but "Fight Club" was fucking awesome.
The older horror movie, "Session 9", is reeeeeaaally bad. A contruction crew is renovating an abandoned asylum, and one of them starts going insane after he finds a box containing the tapes of a previous patient's sessions, and starts killing people off. Death by lobotomy and all that. The only cool part is the very last part, when you finally hear the tape of the ninth session with this little girl with MPD (DID), and Simon comes out to play. *laughs hysterically*
"The Eighteenth Angel"--basically, this order of monks is trying to find the eighteen earthly angels (6+6+6=18), because the eighteenth one will become the new host for the Antichrist. They take the beautiful angel teens/children and steal their faces. o.0 And they kinda succeed, and the ending's kinda cool even if the movie was kinda boring, and I would so see the sequel.
The newest Exorcist was undoubtedly one of the worst movies ever created. Don't ever see it. Ever. For any reason.
"Constantine" with Keanu Reeves--the angel Gabriel is trying to resurrect the Antichrist, Mammon, on earth so that mankind will suffer and therefore be worthy of God's forgiveness. Interesting plot, but one thing is wrong--Mammon was one of the Nephilim (the Fallen), NOT the Antichrist. That's Belial. Mammon wanted Lucifer to build a Dark Empire in Hell to rival Heaven, while Belial--cool, silver-tongued, and the second most beautiful next to Satan himself--wanted them to apologize so they could go back to Paradise and tempt mankind from there. God, Hollywood, get it right! ^_^ And why Gabriel? The angel of announcements? I mean, yeah, I always saw him as kinda cruel, but to go that far...and Keanu Reeves is a horrible actor no matter what role he's in. The guy that played Lucifer, however, for all of fifteen minutes--now he was fucking creepy. Overall, it was okay. I didn't regret paying for it, at least, like I did with "Dark Water". I never read the Hellraiser comics, though, so I couldn't give commentary from that particular angle.
Aaaaaand...that's it for now. I'm gonna go eat. *sighs*
