I seriously didn't think it was possible, but.  I found a Supernatural/Harry Potter crossover.  No, seriously.

...And it's actually pretty awesome, and not just because it has Sam going rather darkside a few times.   Mmm, Antichrist.  Also includes Sam fangirling over magic books, Dean telling wizards exactly what he thinks of their shenanigans, and also proving once more that he really would've made a good daddy in another life.  Well written and never takes itself too seriously.

Pairings: Sephiroth/Cloud; Seifer/Squall (previous implicit Squall/Rinoa)
Canon: FFVII + FFVIII (no CC, BC, AC, DoC, or any other spinoffs)
Rating/Warnings: R – Battle violence, implicit sexual content, foul language; time-travel, of sorts.  Unbetaed.
Summary: Jenova's legacy, living on through the Sorceresses, is forcing Squall to face an unstable Seifer, Cloud Strife, and yet another potential end of the world. Maybe paperwork really wasn't so bad.
Disclaimer: The original inspiration was Konitsu's Bandages, way the hell back in high school.

It's probably fairly obvious that I absolutely love fusions and crossovers, and Kingdom Hearts is tailor-made for that.  So I thought that, uh, I might propose a new 'verse open for everyone to participate (because I, at least, was having fun with the idea).  I always liked the way that [personal profile] icedark_elf allows people to play openly in her Mercverse with only some bare guidelines.

Twilight Town-verse
No rules, no worries, etc.  "Akuna matata" and all that.
~Personal preference believes that the best crossovers happen when some aspect of the characters from fandom A are clarified or developed through interaction with the characters of fandom B, but that's just me.

 OMG AN UPDATE.  No, really, I swear.  XD  I apologize for the long wait, but now we'll return to our semi-regular programming.  Artimusdin now owns my soul.

All previous twenty chapters have been revised, fixing some style, spelling, and grammar errors, plus soothing my discontent with some of the characterization.  A few smaller scenes were added, but the storyline overall hasn't changed; I wouldn't say rereading is entirely necessary, but it's your choice.  And, as always, concrit welcomed.

Imperfect Tense

Pairings: Squall/Seifer (past mild Squall/Rinoa); Sephiroth/Cloud
Summary: (FF7/8) Cloud’s guilt and immortality kept him from the Promised Land while Jenova’s power has been reborn through the Sorceresses. Squall’s just trying to keep everything from falling apart.
Warnings: WIP. Angst, battle violence (naturally), sexual content, and lots of language.  Yay.

1. No canon from Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus, or Crisis Core. Also, I’m well aware that Cloud never had a clone number—I just don’t care. So slight AU on that part.
2. If something is confusing or doesn’t work, please tell me and say why so I can fix it. Alternately, I am always open and looking for suggestions or concrit.
3. Huge heaps of gratitude to Mad Violinist, for supporting my fangirlism, and to artimusdin, who gave me incredibly helpful advice and also took a highlighter to this to make it much better than before. Any remaining mistakes are purely my own.
