guh. just... Gods, talk about intense. This takes things to a whole new level. The last paragraph just blows me away. I love the way Naruto *knew* what would happen and did nothing to stop it, because he understood Sasuke better than anyone else. This is a very awesome fic. Good work.

I'm pretty sure 'Mikoto' was Sasuke's mother's official name, 'Makoto' is the main character in W Juliet and a minor one in FFIX.
Nice flow, good characterisation and wibble factor... but I guess if I'm being completely honest with myself the ending does make sense: Sasuke wanted his mother to remember him as he was instead of the monster he had become.

Damn it, and here I was wanting to argue with someone about whether my characterization of Sasuke was completely wrong or not. *sighs* Although I had slightly different reasons for choosing the ending that I did.
I sort of knew Sasuke would have trouble adjusting, sort of expected that Sasuke would do something not inherently in the norm. It’s hard learning to deal with something you’ve left behind suddenly coming back to say, ‘Hi. So, how’s it been?’ especially with what’s happened and especially considering the fact that this is Sasuke, who wasn’t really been quite stable to begin with. But, still… ;_;
Someone please pay for his therapy?
