Living Chemical Child

Main Pairing: Established Sephiroth/Zack/Cloud
Canon: FFVII (original game only) + Fullmetal Alchemist
Rating/Warnings: Light R - alchemical torture (naturally), some sexuality, meandering thoughts on alchemy and philosophy, general unhappiness.
Summary: It wasn't like Hojo had left clear instructions on how to reverse a sacrifice to the Gate.  Unbetaed.
Note: While the FMA characters will be crossing over, the primary focus is on Sephiroth, Zack, Cloud, and their particular situation.  This story is really more a series of related oneshots than a proper multipart.
Disclaimer: The title and some of the subtitles (and their meanings) are taken from Robert Allen Bartlett's book, Real Alchemy.

I. Terra Damnata.
II. Ora et Labora.
III. Circulation.
IV. Mercury of Air.
V. Philosophical Working.
VI. Separation.
VII. Fire.
VIII. Oil of Silver.

I adore this series. The sheer gal to cross those two series is mind boggling! And of course Roy adn Sephiroth plotting together? awesome.

I have no idea how you are going to introduce Ed to characters as intense as Seph and Zack. However Roy... yes their interaction will be stunning because Roy will grasp their emotional comlexity adn sheer power earlier I think,

Brb, laughing hysterically~

To be fair, Ed's a pretty intense character himself; I think the difficulty is trying to keep one fandom cast from 'overshadowing' the other. I've noticed that a lot of crossovers tend have blatant favoritism towards one or the other. Roy and Ed would be able to see different aspects of Sephiroth and Zack (and their poly relationship), e.g. Ed being more than capable of keeping up with Sephiroth intellectually and understanding that burning need to Make Something Right, whereas Roy might actually be sympathetic with Zack and Zack's role of making sure that Sephiroth stays calm and focused while also making sure no one in Central realizes what's going on. (Zack's sneakier and smarter than Central thinks.)

Anyway. Yeah.

heh, I was more worried about Ed steamrolling striaght into the middle of things with his usuall bluntnsess and driving Seph off the cliff, so to speak. Thus causing havoc and maybe even tragedy, considering how unhinged Seph is already :) But yeh, gal. Sheer gal of yours.... as I said, mind boggling :)
