Got bored of 16th-century alchemists for my dissertation, fucked around with Wordl instead. This is the word cloud for the first 148,000 words of Eir's Tomorrow, ahaha.

I can't wait until the fic's done. Seriously, and it doesn't help that I've always been a very, very slow writer and easily distracted by other things.
Aww. :'D
Ahaha, well, I think it is, since I've chosen alchemy as the basis of my dissertation. Long story short, it's about using alchemy to encourage the dialogue between science and modern religion/spirituality.
You know, I'm probably mad, but I'd love to read your dissertation ;p It sounds really interesting and "different", if you know what I mean. The parallels between the three subjects and how alchemy could be a link is an intriguing topic.
About you being a slow writer, it's not really that bad, because you do update more or less regularly, so I don't worry about never knowing the end. Especially as your chapters are really long, it always makes my day! ^^
(and no, I really don't want it to end, I going to be so depressed T_T Your story makes me look forward to the next day/week/month until you'll update, and I always feel like shit when epic stories as yours get to the end)
Ha, my program director was like, "...I can honestly say I don't think anyone at this university has written on that topic." And it won the approval of the stereotypically English New Age professor, even if I was sitting on the table during my presentation and unthinkingly did a little dance at some point. Depending on how coherent it actually turns out, I hope I can share it. :D Oh god it's due in August aaaaah ~
If it helps, I'll probably keep writing side stories/timestamps? And I may have done some of my own art for it that will never ever see the light of day. Funny you should mention the length, I'm proofreading an interlude-y type thing as we chat that's only 1,400 words. I'M SORRY, IT'S ALL I'VE MANAGED TO COMPLETE.
The little dance on the tabletop? Priceless xD I'd loved to see that ;p (and the prof must have been like: O.o XDDD )
I'm crossing my fingers for you 'till August ^^ I'm sure you'll do fine!
One-shot sequels? A resounding YES!! ^___^ I won't ever say no to new glimpses in your Cloud's life. And don't worry about the 2k interlude, it will be like an appetizer ;p
Btw, you doomed me! You know by now that I love reading your stories, and since you kept posting Supernatural fics, I HAD TO watch the show T_T I spent all January and February catching up with the six seasons, just so I could read your fics ;p I already knew that I would like the show, but I didn't want to get caught up in another fandom, it's all you fault! I resisted for years and you just had to post an umpteenth ficlet and hop! I lost the fight ;p
(On a side note, I have Henri Mancini playing right now, and I'm grinning really hard, you know, the starry eyes kind. Gaia, I love his music).
