Thank God finals are over. Didn't help that the whole time I kept thinking about fanfiction, which is really much more interesting.
So. Erm, I have a short Naruto oneshot written quickly during one of my last classes (and omg I'm officially a Narutard now) inspired by flipping through a Bill Bryson memoir at the library. Because he makes me smile when in the doldrums that is mind-numbingly repetitive work. I also have another Naruto thing for a contest on Y!Gallery, but I'm not done, and it probably won't be posted at FF.net for a while anyway so I can take a serious metaphorical red marker to it. But I haven't forgotten Cloud and Sephiroth--I'll try to finish the next chapter of IP sometime soon.
a_brighter_dawn: You know, you're the only person that's ever been able to get me to read a Neville/Harry. I'm usually more conventional in my slash pairings, but...*purrs* It was just lovely, thank you. It was a bright spot in an otherwise dark and gothically depressing day. Harry's such a kinky bastard, I'd almost feel bad for Neville if it wasn't so...good. *g*
And
fallen_seraphs, I'm sorry to hear about that. I hope your creativity comes back, I'd love to see what you would do. *hug*
And hey, anyone else wanna try the challenge, please do. I know more than just one or two other people have twisted fantasies like this.

I had Logic and Quantum Enigma (which is like quantum physics for people too stupid to major entirely in science). I don't think I've ever had to do two such difficult tests before. I stressed myself out so badly over them, I woke up early this morning coughing up bile (at least, I hope that was why my stomach was trying to climb out of my throat). *head-desk* I swear, I'm going to worry myself into an early grave. Also had a cousin getting married this weekend, which meant less-time-for-study + more-time-with-evil-aunts-and-grandmothers = total waste of time.
On the plus side, next quarter I'm taking Intro Greek Philosophy, Intro Feminism, and Psychology of Religion, so the finals for those should all be essays. I like essays. Scantrons and blue-books make me wither on the inside. (But that also means I'll be reading more Aristotle and I hate that misogynistic asshole. But it's a requirement for my major, so...*kicks the head of the philosophy department*)
Oh, and I did that reading last week. It took maybe, oh, five minutes or so for my piece, but I was reminded once more, when I spent the prevoius hours fidgeting and talking too loudly, just how inept I really am at speaking before people. ^^; My adrenaline level was so high that afterwards my hands and voice were shaking and I really really wanted to go kill something. I needed blood damnit.
So I came home witha raging headache and Naruto volumes 2-11 today from the library (BECAUSE NOW I HAVE THE TIME TO READ COMICS SO HA!). You know, cosplaying is one thing, but if I'm ever found wearing a hitai-ate, have mercy and SHOOT ME.
Oh, random thought; the two comics series Lucifer by Mike Casey and Kabuki by I-don't-remember (both American) are absolutely brilliant. Try them.
