fanfic update, of sorts

I made the stupid mistake of not reading back over my own chapters before continuing Imperfect Tense (I'm seriously considering renaming the damn thing), and a casual perusal already revealed what was, to me, rather glaring mistakes.  For instance, the way I wrote Sephiroth isn't consistent; for another, I want more action, in every meaning of the word.  So even though I'm almost done with chapter twenty-one, this means I want to take (more) time to fix a few things.  Though somehow I'm going to have to beat back the previously mentioned plot-bunnies, and also convince Mad Violinist to leave FFXII alone long enough to help me.  ::bribes her with filched doujinshi::  But this also means I'd be more than happy to take some suggestions and/or ideas, if anyone has any...

So I have a valid excuse for a (potentially) late update.  Ha.

Dude.  I can't believe the fic's already had its first birthday.  It's like...well, a reminder that I don't have a life, actually.  :D

Boredom, difficulty sleeping, and a strong disinclination to even pretend that I enjoy being social. And having disproportionately more caffeine than blood helps, too.
