Final Fantasy 3DS rhythm game, Theatrhythm, revealed
"[...] Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, a 3DS game that includes dungeons and towns, and has you tapping on the screen to conduct battles. Also, I know I've been posting a lot these last few weeks. This is because: one, I talk a lot anywayno seriously it's pretty amazing sometimes, and two, because my dissertation is wringing the life out of me but I don't feel like reading much escapism!fic and I feel guilty trying to write it and gah, I'm sure this all makes sense somewhere. And I know how I want to end Eir's Tomorrow now except I'm afraid of disappointing people and so I intimidate myself, which means I put off writing and I know that irritates people because I get messages asking what the hold up is, and then I feel guilty all over again and it's all a VICIOUS CYCLE of VICIOUSNESS. And it's been like three years since I actually participated in this fandom outside writing my own fic and I don't know what's going on anymore Out There and I'm all like DDD: WHY NO I'M NOT NEUROTIC WHY WOULD YOU EVEN ASK.

chofi 's Sephiroth and artimusdin 's Angeal. Or a medicated Genesis, there was some debate there in which Din accused me of having the requisite temperament and I threatened her with penises drawn in Sharpie. arin_rowan is our Cloud, but I'm not sure if she knows that yet. She probably does now.

Additionally, if someone who hadn't played the game still wanted to start reading fic because they thought it sounded interesting, what fics would anyone recommend? I haven't really read anything in this fandom since around '08 (yes, I'm that precise, what can I say), so I may not be the best person for this task. Any rating, any kink, and probably any pairing until this person can get a feel for the characters. Cafeteria-style love, baby.

Ack. Just wanted to say that I try to respond to every thread but, obviously, don't always succeed. (It's like, someone took the time to write, the least I can do is the same.) Sometimes someone will comment on an older post, and when I go back there are like five or ten others to which I never responded and then it's like GUILT~ and then the anxiety of IT'S LIKE A YEAR OR TWO OLD, SHOULD I ANSWER NOW OR NOT OH GOD WOULD THAT BE WEIRD?

So, Eir's Tomorrow has been edited, mostly superficially for grammar and shit even though I know there are some things that still slipped past. It's been posted on DreamWidth and on FF.net, mostly because those two are user-friendly and have high word limits. (New chapters will continue to be posted here on LJ as well, though.)

This epic fucker is at 148,000 words, btw. Goddamnit,artimusdin , FML, why can't I just finish it already.
