My mum passed at 5:46 AM on 30 July 2009 in the hospital.  I was with her, so she wasn't alone, at least.

...Am 'comfortably numb', as my aunt describes it, and in the midst of clearing out her home.  Needless to say I probably won't be updating for a while.

I...well, thank you.  You wouldn't think the support from near-anonymous people would mean anything, but it honestly does, and even though I'm feeling awkward as I type, I also feel blessed and honored and generally wooby on you guys.

-hugs- You update when you feel like it. It's a hard thing to deal with even if you are "comfortably numb" sooner or later it'll get you. We understand the absence.
